River is our first Miniature American Shepherd and I got her as a hiking partner. River is such a wonderful dog and started our love of the breed. This 15 ½ inches red merle girl is very high energy and high drive; she needs a job to be happy. River loves to go kayaking with us, enjoys a lot of performance events, and excels at agility in both AKC and UKC, she has even competed in NADAC agility. Her favorite thing in the world is me and her tennis ball, she will do anything in order to get me to throw that ball!!

River finished her MACH (Master Agility Champion) in AKC agility and also her UACH in UKC agility in 2021. She is currently working on her PACH (Preferred Agility Champion)

2022 - River qualified for AKC's National Agility Championship and competed in the AKC Agility Nationals in Ocala Florida in April.

2023 - River qualified for AKC's National Agility Championship and will compete in the AKC Agility Nationals in Tulsa Oklahoma in March.
