| River is our first Miniature American Shepherd, and I got her as a hiking partner. She is such a wonderful dog and started our love of the breed. This 15 ½ inch red merle girl is very high energy and high drive; she needs a job to be happy. River loves to go kayaking with us, and although she is retired now, she enjoyed a lot of performance events and excelled at agility, earning many titles over the years – including a MACH and a PACH. Her favorite thing in the world is me and her tennis ball; she will do anything in order to get me to throw that ball!! |
